The golf course at Smithfields Country Club is an eighteen hole championship caliber layout. The course features five sets of tees with yardages ranging from 5069 yards from the forward red tees to 6796 yards from the championship back (black) tees which allows an enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels.

The fairways and tees feature bermudagrass with bentgrass used on the all the greens. Water and sand traps come in to play strategically on many holes. For individual hole descriptions, please use the navigation menu on the left to learn more.

The golf course has plenty of practice and warm-up facilities to help get you ready before you start your round.

USGA Rules Govern Play

White stakes, fences and main roads are boundary lines for out of bounds areas.

Red stakes or lines define lateral water hazards.

Yellow stakes or lines define water hazards.

The par 72 course layout is traditional in that it features four par 3's, and four par 5's with the rest of the holes being par 4's. Two holes, the par 3 #8 and the par 5 #18, require a forced carry over water to reach the green. Severe and gentle right and left doglegs come into play on holes #2, #4, #5, #9, #10, #11, #14 and #18.
